This Cookie Policy explains how Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasan Ersöz Clinic (“we”, “our” or “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on www.drhasanersoz.com.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website or an embedded service may store on your computer, phone or tablet. They can remember preferences, keep a service working or, in some cases, measure how a site is used.
2. Cookies we use
Our website does not set its own cookies for analytics, advertising or profiling, and it does not use tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads or the Meta Pixel. When you first visit, a short cookie notice lets you allow or refuse third-party content (currently the Google Maps embed on the contact page). Your choice is stored in your browser and you can change it at any time with the “Cookie Preferences” link in the page footer.
The site itself may store only what is technically necessary for it to work, for example your browser’s normal handling of pages and forms. We do not use this information to identify you.
3. Third-party content
Some pages include content from other services. These services are controlled by their providers and may set their own cookies when the content is loaded:
- YouTube videos. Videos are loaded only after you press the play button, using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced (youtube-nocookie.com) mode. Before you press play, no YouTube cookie is requested.
- Google Maps. The map on the contact page is provided by Google and may set cookies. It loads only after you accept in the cookie notice (or press “Load map” for a single visit). Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.
- Links to social media and WhatsApp. These are ordinary links. The respective service handles cookies only after you open it.
Each provider processes personal data according to its own privacy policy.
4. Contact form
When you send a message through the contact form, the details you enter (name, e-mail, phone, message) are used only to reply to you. Please do not include unnecessary sensitive medical information in your first message. Further information is in our Personal Data Processing Privacy Notice (KVKK).
5. Managing cookies
You can manage or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Most browsers let you block cookies, delete existing cookies and be notified before a cookie is stored. Blocking third-party cookies may affect embedded content such as the map. You can also change your choice with the “Cookie Preferences” link in the footer.
